The 0.9 cm depth also matters: thin materials should not be assumed to provide meaningful bass absorption. Actual results depend on material properties, mounting and the problem frequency, which the listing does not document with a verified coefficient table.

Would six panels keep television sound from leaving?
No evidence shows they would. Auralex distinguishes sound absorption from sound isolation: absorbing internal reflections is different from preventing sound transmission through walls and doors. The HEMOTON panels should not be presented as a wall sound barrier.
