QuietRock 545 is a 1-3/8-inch multi-layer panel weighing approximately 6.3 lb/ft² and designed for maximum sound control across a broad frequency range.

This is a specialist product.

Choose QuietRock 545 if

- the room is a serious studio or theater;

Do not choose 545 simply because it is the highest model

Is soundproof drywall actually worth it?
Sometimes.
But specialty drywall becomes much harder to justify if the rest of the room has obvious acoustic weaknesses.
For example, upgrading a wall from ordinary drywall to a high-performance damped panel may provide disappointing value if the room still contains:
- a hollow-core door;
- large gaps around the door frame;
- poorly sealed electrical boxes;
